Netgear SPC 'My Time' App removed from Google app store - is it discontinued?
I have tried speaking to technical but no one can give me an answer. The app has been removed from the google app store, so I am assuming its now discontinued. Its not worked for months and now its gone, no updates, no app to download.
Can anyone shed any light on this. I have a paid subscription and my netgear account says I havent got any subscriptions either, odd.
Can anyone shed any light. Many thanks
Hello All,
The Google Play 'My Time" app is functional and can be found by searching "my time by NETGEAR". Please retry this method to find the app if it was previously unsuccessful. Once you locate the app please follow the instructions from the previous post on how to use the 'My Time' app with your Orbi app.

Hello james80,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that you would like to use My Time by NETGEAR features with your Orbi Mesh system but you are unable to find the app on your mobile device. My time has been added to the Orbi app as a feature. My Time is only compatible with Android, iOS, and Chromebook devices.
Please follow the instructions below to add devices to My Time using your Orbi app:
- Launch the Orbi app or Nighthawk app.
- Tap the Device Manager tile.
- Select a device to install My Time on.
- Tap Install next to NETGEAR My Time.
- Tap Continue to send a download link to that device (The download link via email, text message, or AirDrop (iOs)).
- Tap ADD THIS DEVICE.
- Tap Allow to let the Orbi app or Nighthawk app access pictures and record videos.
- Open the My Time download link on your child's mobile device to download the My Time app.
- Launch the My Time app.
- Tap Get Started.
- Tap Accept on the User Agreement page.
- On your device (Orbi app or Nighthawk app installed), use the QR code scanner to scan the QR code on your child's device.
- On your child's device, tap Install VPN.
- On your child's device, tap Allow.
- On your child's device, tap Continue > Continue > Allow.

- james80GuideHi Kevin, thanks for the update. That would be great if i was a 1st time user. I am not. Have you searched for the MyTime app on the google play store? Or have you tried your steps and got to where the Orbi App sends a message to childs phone to download the app?
At this point the app is not there to download?! This is the issue and still the issue. Its not there anymore and hasnt been for months. Nothing to download, nada. - james80Guide
Appologies for my previous reply sounding aggressive. I have been on the phone to Netgear for hours and I keep getting sent a link to MyTime which isnt there anymore. I dont know what more I can say or ask for.
I used to have the app on my sons old phone im not a new user, ive had it for a while. I just went to re-download to a new phone but the app is not in the AppStore anymore.
I have tried your step by step guide, when you get to step 8 the app is not there to download so I just stop dead at step 8.
It maybe not supported in the UK anymore, the device is a Samsung S23 so not an old device.
If someone can check the steps above, or try searching for it within the Android app store.
Thanks in advance
Hopefully Netgear can shed some light on this issue.
- rezoonInitiateGot through to support yesterday and they acknowledged there is a problem. Took about an hour of my day.
- rezoonInitiateBuddy the app has been removed from the play store. Step 5 is full out broken.
- james80GuideAny ideas when the app will be available on the google app store?
If not id like to be contacted about my money back from Netgear please.- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
