Nighthawk parental controls

Hello, my parents recently bought a Nighthawk AX5400 router, they're about to get the Netgear app (parental controls) to look at my search history and logs, which I'm fine with I'll just make sure I won't look up anything bad again. But I'm very worried that they can still see the I did on our previous router (it didn't have parental controls, but it's still on the same Wi-Fi network as our new router). So on the parental controls are you able to see what you did on other routers? Or can you only see what went through the nighthawk router alone?

  • log in to your router, as you would to change your network name and password. Once you've logged in, look for an option for parental controls or access restrictions. Not all routers have these options, and the location of these options can vary depending on the router you're using.

Only what was done when it was active.

But if whatever your looking at is th at concerning, it might be time to have a conversation with them.

Certain things are frowned upon but healthy while others can be a different issue.

If its that different issue, its better they know and can help understand/deal with it versus making a situation worse.
