I purchased a Nighthawk X10 not too long ago, partially because it has parental controls. I tried to set them up today and after 2 hours realized that it is no longer supported. Does anyone have ideas for ways to still do parental controls on the nighthawk? If not, this is going in the garbage and I will NEVER buy Netgear again.

My understanding is that Netgear has removed the following parental control applications1) removed parental controls from the Nighthawk x10 Router2) removed the Circle on Netgear app from app store3) removed accessibitily from using OpenDNS Is this what others have detemined? They have just gutted ALL possibilities of using parental controls? Netgear advertises that its newer routers have new parental controls built in, but I have heard from multiple people that these are also going to be removed soon. I think Netgear just sucks - anyone want to buy a new x10 router for real cheap - if not its going in the trash can

What's a Nighthawk x10 AD7200? Certainly not a Netgear model number. R9000?

the website you sent me to states to to the following: 1. Launch the Orbi app or Nighthawk app2. Tap Parental Controls tile I did this on the Nighthawk app and there is NO Parental Controls tile. Does not exist. Try it yourself, there is no tile or any mention of parental control on the Nighthawk app. So your solution is meaningless
