Smart Parent Controls stopped working after trial expires then signing up
Apparently if your SPC trial expires and you pay for a 1 year subscription netgear isn't smart enough to lift the software restrictions. Customer service chat was unable to provide any solutions. Customer service phone call for 20 minutes didn't fix anything.
Using the Nighthawk app I setup a new profile.
No usage or history appears for the devices.
Profile restrictions arent applied.
Using the web control under ADVANCED -> SECURITY -> BLOCK SITES, adding a domain with ALWAYS checked and APPLY doesnt block the domain.

Try a factory reset on the NH router and setup from scratch using a wired PC and web browser:

Then connect the NH app and see if SPC works...
