More on unread messages
OK, so here is another issue with unread messages. This message says it has 2 replies: ReadyNAS Pro 6 - Stuck on booting while checking fs | NETGEAR Communities. But there is only one visible, so the "invisible" one keeps showing as unread. I don't know if the lost one is caught in the SPAM filter, has already been deleted, or what, but this is really messing things up when trying to see that I've read all the posts. There is another post with a similar issue, but it's much longer.

FYI, there were spam posts on this particular thread (which were rejected). So that is likely the cause.
I am also seeing several discussion threads with unread messages. Even after clicking on each post in the thread, the unread count doesn't change. This is also really messing me up. I would like the ability to mark all posts in a discussion thread as read (and also the ability to mark all posts in a forum as read).
I suspected as much, which means the software has a bug. Your SUGGESTED work-around would certainly be welcome, but the root cause should also be fixed.
