I am currently experiencing difficulties with DHCP configuration on my Netgear WAX204 router in relation to DNS. I am seeking your expertise to help me resolve this issue.

My network is set up with a router distributing IP addresses in the range of 10.0.0.x, and the DNS server is configured on my NAS (where AdGuard Home is installed) with an IP address of 10.0.0.2. Unfortunately, all DNS requests seem to originate only from the local IP of the router (10.0.0.1), even though the DNS settings are correctly configured to point to the NAS.

I have verified and confirmed that the NAS's IP address is correctly specified as the DNS server in the router's configuration. I have also restarted both the router and the NAS, but the problem persists.

I attempted to manually redirect the DNS on each device, but I would prefer for this to be handled automatically by the router's DHCP.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue by providing specific steps to properly configure DHCP on the router so that it distributes the NAS's IP address as the DNS server to clients.

Is the only solution to disable DHCP on the router and enable it in AdGuard Home on the NAS? (I know this works, but I would have preferred to leave DHCP management to the router)
