Yes, I had a typo in my OP- the modem address is 192.168.100.1. I have tried connecting and pinging 192.168.100.10, nothing. Can we do anything with that address?

OK - to restate the question -
192.168.100.1 WORKS - I get the modem admin page., All is good. No issues, used it for years on multiple modems.
Today I noticed 192.168.100.10 shows up on a boot up - it's in the modem log. I am trying to find out what that is. Thanks!

Could be a possible temporariy IP address thats is setup for the connecting device. Then as the modem gets going, then changes to the full WAN public IP address that gets passed to the connecting device, i.e. router.
I would not be too concerned about it. I'll see if maybe NG knows something about this.
