That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Use the other M/R as an access point.
Being this was a Netgear community. I figured this would be the first place to look.
Especially since I'm stuck in the GD reset password loop. Which I've tried on chromo, edge, and Firefox.

If you have the CAX80 as your main ISP modem, you can use the C series modem as a wired AP if you set the modems router IP address to say 192.168.1.70, set up the wifi on this modem and then shut OFF the DHCP server under Advanced tab/Setup/LAN setup.
You'll need to set the channels on both of the modems to FAR apart channels, CAX80 try 1 and 40 and the C7000 to 11 and 149
Then ethernet connect one of the LAN ports on the C series modem to one of the LAN ports on the back of the CAX80.

What reset password loop are you seeing?
Be sure you clear out all browser caches before entering to the modems web page.Try a different browser...MS Edge, Firefox or Opera.
- IanhicksAug 15, 2022AspirantThank you. I will clear the cache and such tonight but it's in the password recovery or reset. It asks 2 security questions. You reset password, it says to enter the new login. And after that it loads right back to the beginning of the password recovery/reset process. After sifting, I believe your advice may help my cause.
