2050CM Router: Download light blinking.

Haven't noticed this before. Speeds seem consistent with what I had before this issue. (2000download/42upload) Rebooting doesn't help. All the other lights steady.

Edit: Never mind... seems to have stopped blinking.🙄

Usually if its blinking, its searching for additional channels to lockup.

It could be you have some sketchy connections.

Got a copy of the cable connections page?

The actual model number of your modem is CM2050V.  Presuming your ISP is Xfinity, the throughput numbers do not make sense.  The 2000 Mbps download indicates you are in an area that has been upgraded to the Enhanced Speed Network.  That means your upload should be in the 300 Mbps range.

Log in to the modem user interface and confirm the installed firmware version.  It should be V10.01.03.  For throughput testing, use the Ookla stand alone application available in the play store.  Using a web browser and a web site just adds another variable for inconsistency.
