I would tend to go by your expertise and appreciate the time.
I have a lot of errors on my line and it is from the outside drop back to their service according to the tech.
It is bizarre to me the service provider(comcast) only has nodes that are manageble on the network like 12 miles away. sending guys on polls to change services to adapt to a few modem readings seems like a difficult way to optimize all of the sprectrum they need to manage with docsis to turn it into round trip stable internet.
the tech is in the are and now causing neighbor outages.
I would pay $500+ or more for a service from netgear to manage this and send the needed data back to comcast rather than my last 8 days.

hopefully whatever the tech is doing in your area fixes the problem.
If not, many times ISP's like to say "its not our line, its your equipment".
I've actually had to rent a modem for a month to prove it wasn't the equipment before.
And it could actually be the equipment. its always a chance of that.

Comcast/xfinity added back the >700Mhz channels to the downstream channels. 2 maintenance outages 5/20 & 2 more 5/21 with 10-20min outages each.
Then went away for the weekend.
Will see what it is Monday for heavy work reliance on this network.
CM status is good now 9:24pmET 5/23/2021.
