8-stream AX WiFi Gateway (CAX80) - Unable to navigate router login URL - always redirects to PassRec

My CAX80 does not allow me to log in to manage it and redirects me to a forced password reset page. No matter what I do, it takes me back to the same page: PwdRec_index.htm  it also says "Your Device is disabled" but... it is not from what I see from the Nighthawk App, or my devices are connected.

I am not trying to reset my password! - I am just trying to login in to Manage my DNS settings.

I have seen others with this issue, but the solution has varied or not been very clear.

How do I get around this?

That only happens if the log in information is passed to the modem incorrectly after 3 times I think. A browser saved password profile maybe sending incorrect log in information.

Be sure to clear our all browser caches and remove any saved password profiles for the modem from the browser. Try a different browser after powering off the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Thank you for the reply. I have cleared my browser cache, cookies and password profiles. I also installed a different web browser.. but I am still being Redirected to Password Reset every time. At least the page does not mention being offline anymore..

After further reading of others with a similar issue, some of them tried following the reset prompts (Enter Serial No.) but get stuck later on security questions that were never set up. I am afraid that the same will happen to me if I proceed to password reset.

Once again... to be clear, I am not trying to reset any password. I just want to log in. But if going through the reset will let me in I am willing to do it.

I recommend that you'll need to factory reset the modem and setup from scratch using a wired PC and web browser:

        https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface

As you walk thru the setup routine, be sure to write down all important information for safe keeping. I presume this maybe whey the recovery isn't working as the security questions are not configured and getting stuck here. So this needs to be setup again and security questions entered in during the setup.
