AC 1900 C700V2 - stopped working

I have this modem since July 2020 working fine. One morning the modem stopped working, I tried to reset it, factory reset with no avail. Register product, I'm eligible for a hardware warranty for a year. called the technical support, that requested me to check all the LED lights (which are all static ON, since the second you power it ON), the "technician" didn't request power off, reset nothing. He was 100% sure I have not a hardware failure, therefore I need to buy the support to move forward. I ask him how he could afirm I don't have any hardware / firmware issue, he just mention if lights are green no hardware problem. I have insisted to know how is possible he be 100% sure, he just mentioned to move forward with the paid support.  

Question, any have expirenced all LED lights static ON? Also any felt forced to purchase a contract support?

    many times people google for supports number and get scam sites. 

    to get support, you click on mynetgear at the top. register an account and the device. from there you can contact support. 

    but it does cost $ if you're over 90 days. If it turns out to be a hardware issue, they usually refund it (ask for that up front). But if its not, then it does cost money. 

    what you can try. 

    1. Do try a 30/30/30 factory reset. push and hold reset while powered on for 30 seconds, then power it off while continuing to hold reset fo r30 seconds, power it back on while still holding reset for 30 seconds. Make sure to do this with the coax disconnected from the modem

    2. see if you can hardwiring into the modem and ping it. try 192.168.100.1
