AC1200 C6220 WiFi radios not broadcasting
So in searching for relevant posts about my problem I find several old posts from other users who experienced what seems to be the exact same problem that I have encountered just starting on Sunday 8...
Is the ISP cable connected when this reboot happens. Wonder if you try resetting the modem with out the ISP coax cable connected if the modem continues to reboot.
Well I did try resetting the modem both with and without the ISP coax connected, but have tried so many combinations of things that I can't remember whether I specifically did what you are asking. Will have to look at this again later.
I think simply trying to use the web browser interface to the modem connected via ethernet to my laptop PC is short lived that nothing can really be accomplished before the modem resets.
Try a 30-30-30 reset. If this fail then the modem may have gone bad and needs replacing.
Thanks for all your suggestions. I am not exactly sure what you mean by a 30-30-30 reset, but at this point I have concluded that the modem software load or similar has been corrupted and I have no way to get the full operation back. I am considering the device to be FUBAR and am replacing with a newer and different brand cable modem WiFi gateway.
