AC1600 C6250 Internet Connection Dropping

Hello Everyone,

 

I am having trouble with my modem router dropping internet connection intermitenly. It didnt start happening until 2 days ago but it seems like a couple times a day when I am online it will drop connection and then reconnect. It has taken between 30 seconds to a couple hours for it to reconnect. I have attacheched screenshots of my logs if that helps. Has anyone else had this issue and no how to resolve? I have contacted comcast and have been told that there end seems to be running fine and the problem keeps happening at the modem. I have a service tech coming out Monday to see if the problem is on there end but I will be charged a fee if it isnt. So I wanted to reach out to see if I could find a solution here.

  • I started having this problem two days ago and have done everything I can to troubleshoot, reset, reconnect, change passwords and nothing helps.  I have Xfinity cable internet.  Interesting that someone else on Xfinity is having these issues too.  What's going on?

    I would contact the ISP and have them review there logs to see if anything appears at the same time frames you notice the connection drop. Ask them to check the service line to your modem as well.
