Ac3200

I am new to using a router with my cable internet providers modem (AT&T) I have the fastest speed they offer me of 50MBPS when adding the AC3200 I expected to see a speed test of at least the 50mbps but getting 20 mbps I have issues using my firestick for any thong that is over 1gbps am I wrong to expect I height MBPS on a speed test?

    What modem are you using from att? 

    Are you testing over 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

    2.4ghz is more sensitive to interference and is much slower than 5ghz

    what speeds do you get hardwired into the router?
