After network reset, am no longer able to connect Smart TV to router C6250

Purchased in 10/30/20. Netgear only supports up to 90 days, $50 for 2 yrs support now. Any chance this can be solved w/o going to Best Buy Geek Squad?

When I go to Router Login on my laptop, it asks for new password then doesn't proceed to next page. ???

  • What has that to do with the subject of your message?

Connecting a smart TV to a router should not need you to go anywhere near routerlogin.net.

    It just hangs?

Is this wired into the router or on wifi?

Have you offered it a new password?

Netgear is getting very dictatorial about passwords. It wants to force us to protect ourselves even when it is not needed.

You reset the router. So feed it with a new password and see what happens.
