Amber Upstream Light

I have a C6300 AC1750 modem & router with firmware version 2.01.20 (I think this is the most current version). The upstream light is amber, and I find that I occasionally have connectivity problems. ...

I have the same problem too but except I used to have a solid amber and get internet connection and then after a while the internet connection goes away even when the light turned green but still receive the wireless radio and sometimes I won't get the full download speed. Now presently after restarting a bunch of times and hard resetting maybe twice even unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in, I am currently having a solid amber upstream light and a green blinking downstream light with internet connection that's not really stable. I don't know if the green blinking is an issue. I have Xfinity Comcast as my isp. Please tell me what the issue is and how I can fix it?! Here are my upstream and downstream.

    Literally after I posted the one before this my upstream light turned solid green but my downstream light is still blinking. Here are the upstream and downstream and I'll show you the event logs on another post because I'm on my phone and it doesn't let me put in more 1 file

        Hello Akeeb4316

         

        You have alot of timeouts in your logs which indicates a connection issue with your ISP it could be some wiring issue in your home or somewhere in your area I would contact your ISP have them send a tech to check things out.

    Hello. I’m having the same exact issues w/ the amber upstream light, which is constant. My MacBook Pro is having a hard time connecting & continues toggling between Looking for networks” & “On.” Attached is my report. Thanks!

      you have signal issue. Your upstream power too high and beyond specs. that is why you have only 1 upstream channel and it shows amber. 

       

      All the powers for US need to be around mid-high 40s and this is at 57dBmV.

    I also have the problem with an amber upstream. I seem that everything is okay except the power level please check. Thanks.
