1. Will this be a good idea? Note: this is AC router with Mu-Mimo but I am only concerned about 2.4G signal reaching to one far corner of backyard for a wireless security camera.
2. Are there any compatible Netgear antennas that I could use to boost range?
3. I am also considering using a 6-7 feet SMA antenna extension cable to re-position one of antennas supplied with the router (I wll not use the aftermarket 9 dBi antenna). Basically the extension cable will go through wall in my closet to adjoining room and one antenna will be placed in next room, so that more signals could go to my backyard. Is this a good idea?
