Any update on 5Ghz Upload issue?
Hi everyone,
Yes, as of this evening 1/15/24 this issue is still present. I have the same exact problem. I have reinstalled the OS and I have performed a rollback. I have performed numerous ...

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

My apologies. This was not a solution.
I had a power outage and things went back the old way; meaning the 5.0 GHz doesn't upload any longer.
My Amazon Fire cube is still placed further away and also noticed upstream and downstream indicator will sometimes be blinking and sometimes steady. I am at a loss. It worked for about 2-3 days.

The latest:
I bought a second CAX80 from Walmart. It has the same, exact, identical issue.
Few things:
1) I also have Comcast; this is a common factor for all users, as I went through all the threads.
2) The 5.0 upload relates mostly to browsers; not being able to upload pictures and such; I do too.
3) Seems many users have issues on the 5.0 when they attempt to upload large files; I do too.
One user mentioned that the MAC Random Hardware Address could be the culprit; I tested it. No difference for me whether it is enabled or disabled.
One user mentioned that Netgear Armor was still active and that the 5.0 upload was working. Yes, I did have my 5.0 WIFI working for about 2-3 days until a power outage. During that time the Netgear Armor was active as trial!
Last night I factory reset the router. Then, I set it up using the Android App Nighthawk through my mobile data plan. Later today I tested my router. All of a sudden, I could upload photos to Craigslist again using the 5.0 GHz signal (couple users talked about this site). Also, now I can upload again to the Next-door Neighbor site (this site was mentioned also in a previous discussion).
I tested my uploads to these two site 5-6 times, and they still work after having set up the router through the Netgear Nighthawk App with Armor still active for 16 more days.
Netgear support is terrible. I told them enough with changing settings, etc. I could do uploads through my neighbor's router on the 5.0 frequency without any problems. This also rules out any issues with my laptop that I'm using. Right now 5.0 GHz uploads are working, however, large file transfers/uploads fail through AnyViewer, whereas small files upload just fine. Netgear is supposed to send me a firmware update as I mention CASE #47070779.
This is definitely a NETGEAR CAX80 5.0 GHz WIFI issue!

There is a beta that other users told of that resolved the 5ghz upload issue. Please ask NG support about this.
