Aug 02, 2019Thanks FURRYe38 I was able to connect to the C3700 (router Mode) and ASUS (AP mode) but my original plan was to take adv of the ASUS as the router.. what I did
- Disabled the C3700 router mode
- Enabled the ASUS as router
but the ASUS does not connect to the model - solid red light after reboot.. I have attached my settings doc; I must be missing something in the modem settings..

The Router Mode feature on the C modem needs to be set to NO. This will bridge the C modem setting it for Modem only, then configure your ASUS router for router mode, not AP mode.

FURRYe38 Sorry for the delay - I finally got to setup up the Netgear in bridge mode with my ASUS RT-3100 - everything is working fine except I cannot loginto the Netgear modem - the ASUS has a WAN IP that's 24.30.xx.xx ...
Wired directly to the Netgear also does not accept 192.168.0.1 - what am I doing wrong?
