Bad connectivity ac1900, c7000v

I had the same issue hard wired to the computer. Gave me all the same speeds (approx. 250mbps). I don’t need/ expect to have 900 mbps, but I would like to think expecting to have 400-500 isn’t unrealistic right?
Wired yes. Wireless is theoretical. Depends on configuration, devices used and the modems wifi.
IF a factory reset and setup from scratch with a wired PC, don't enabled access controls, QoS or Traffic meter on the modem doesn't result in seeing anything near 900Mbps, then the modem may not be working right or handling the 900Mpbs service. I see it's docsis 3.0 which works, however most ISPs require a DOCSIS 3.1 modem to get 1Gb speeds. This C series modem is connecting with 24 and 8 channels, where a docsis 3.1 modem connects at 32 and 8 channels. You may want to return the C7000 modem and find a DOCSIS 3.1 series modem, try the C7800 or instead of a built in modem router combo, NGs CM1000 or 1100 would be stand alone modems. I have the 1100 and it works at 900mbps wired speeds. Then add on a external wifi router.
