Blu-ray Disc Player BX510 VS NETGERA WNDR4500 No Netflix

After adding Network name and SSID to the Bli-ray setup I have network connection but no video service.  You can see the device in Netgear Genie.   For some reason there the ability to connect to the internet through the Blu-ray player will not work.  Before I added my new Modem Netgear CM600, I had no problem with Netflix or any other Internet connection.....................................any advice would be  a great help.
