c1700 nighthawk app says firmware is outdated
I recently bought a second hand c1700v to use with Spectrum. I tried connecting with the app and it tells me the firmware is outdated I contacted my isp and they told me that they couldnt do anythin...

Which "the app"? Which firmware version?
Perhaps "the app" hasn't read the relevant KB article:
