How to update Software of my modem router, I tried many ways, still cannot thru log in or nighthawk app. Thank you.
You can't. On that device the firmware is built into the provisioning from your ISP.
and the ISP's rarely update the firmware, even when netgear supplies it.
Thank you very much, so it's time to replace it, high ping and latency.

What device are you testing on?
Over wired? 2.4ghz? 5ghz?
What speeds do you pay for?
What speeds do you get hardwired into the router?
Got a screen snip of the cable connections page and event logs? (helps us check connection back to isp)
