C3700-100nas Comcast Slow Speeds

I have a C3700 my connection speed is suppose to be 250 Mbps but I am only getting 120 Mbps I have checked all my connections contacted Comcast everything with them checks out. I have checked the man...

Hello JaCrispy

 

The C3700 Data Sheet  is correct in terms of theoretical speed for C3700 however Comcast requires users to use a 16x4 Cable Modem or Cable modem router if they are subscribed to services that provide speeds greater than 150 Mbps.

 

If you are subscribed to Comcast Extreme 250Mbps Plan you will need one of the following cable modem/modem routers:

 

·         Netgear C6250 Cable Modem Router

·         Netgear C6300 Cable Modem Router

·         Netgear C7000 Cable Modem Router

·         Netgear CM500 Cable Modem

·         Netgear CM600 Cable Modem
