C3700, LAN 1 not working
Lan 1 is not working. Will a factory reset correct this issue? Is there anything else that can be done to correct this issue? All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
I don't think anyone will be able to definitely tell you what will fix it. It's pretty unusual but not impossible for a single port to fail. Are you sure it's not the cable or the device?
If worse comes to worst, you can always buy an Ethernet switch and connect it to one of the working LAN ports. This will provide you with extra ports.

Thanks for your input. I tried rebooting the unit, but that didn't work. Changed cables, etc. Lan 1 is not working. I don't want to use a switch as I want to run Lan 1 directly to the computer (via ethernet) for hard wire connection, and connect Lan 2 to a router for wireless connection to other computers in the house. Was wondering if anyone could make any other suggestions as to how to fix Lan 1.
- Use a switch. It will not impact performance in any way.
