"login info"?  Assuming that you mean the names (SSIDs) of your
wireless network, do the actual names which you're seeing agree with the
SSID name(s) on your product label?  If so, then apparently your
modem+router has had a (spontaneous?) settings reset.  I'd try
reconfiguring it as if it were new.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.

    > [...] I have tried to sign into the genie to no avail. [...]

       "tried" what, exactly, how, exactly?

Which "genie"?  Ever helpful, Netgear uses the name "Genie" for more
than one thing.  Netgear routers have a web-browser interface called
"Genie", and Netgear offers application programs for various
computers/tablets/phones, which are also called "Genie".  (I'd stick
    with the web-browser interface.)

"tried" or "to no avail" is not a useful problem description.  It
does not say what you did.  It does not say what happened when you did
it.  As usual, showing actual actions with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.
