C6250 Router & Xbox One Download Speeds
Hello Guys, I currently have the xfinity 100MBPS Download/ 10 MBPS Upload Plan. I reach those speeds on my laptop & phone. But my xbox download speed range from 900kbps to 20MBPS max. I have yet to see 100MBPS download speed on my xbox. This flucuation is frustration. I used to rent a verizon fios modem router through their plan (same plan i have now with xfinity) & it had download speeds faster than what im currently having on my xbox. Im not sure why this is happening when the current modem router ( Model C6250 ) should be way faster or atleast provide better results. Has anyone had this issue before?

1.Are those speeds wireless/wired?
2. the xbox speedtest isn't reliable at speed testing. the most reliable is a hardwired computer and using a speedtest site that you can change servers. reason why is many times a server isn't fully saturating speeds and needs to be changed. Xbox speedtest doesn't have that option.
Is it effecting gameplay or you're just wanting to get speeds up?

Try connecting your xbox wired when downloading or updating games. Speeds can flucuate when downloading on either wired or wireless connections from MS services.
