C6250 USB NAS STILL not working - 5 case numbers later and my support runs out tonight
I started on August 8 2020 trying to get Readyshare vault to backup my Win 10 Education ver. 2004 (recently updated on 9/9/20.)
I have three hand-written pages of notes while using phone support and have talked to six+ "techs" and received a new replacement router.
There are so many issues I've addressed that I don't know where to begin again.
Today I tried reaching the USB drive (Seagate Backup Plus 4 TB) with my Android phone to see if the problem resides with Windows (tried multiple Win 10 comps. and several different drives.) The drive I'm using is selectable in advanced USB settings of (online Network Genie): Approved USB devices but never shows up in USB storage advanced settings, "Available Network Folders."
I have in the past been able to map the network USB drive to Z: on my comp. This done through multiple reboots and/or replugging the USB drive.
I just today saw a community post in another Nighthawk comunity: Windows credentials work-around:
http://windowanswers.com/windows-rt/windows-10-falls-to-access-network-drives-297748.html
Which I havent read yet, but I do remember fiddling with windows credentials at some point.
I have initiated a backup in 'vault' and had email notification which said "failed".
Too many tries of various things I can't think of now without referring to my notes and putting things in some semblance of order.
Any suggestions?
