C6300 - power on and down stream light flashing

The cable modem router abruptly stopped working a following morning when the previous day it was having no issues. It seemed to power cycle on its own and eventually just the power and flashing downstream light. Attempted to factory reset but the modem would not respond. I know it's not the ISP as I bought a temporary modem (functions appropriately) in hopes this one had a fix.

    Disconnect the coax cable form the ISP service box from the modem. Then try a factory reset. Press the reset button for 10-15 seconds then let go. Does this change anything?
