C6300 Dropping wifi connection suddenlt
I can't seem to find a straight answer on here so I feel like asking again. I have an AC1750 modem/router that has been working fine for the past 8 months or so. In the past few days, it has been sudd...

I fought this problem for months and finally discovered that the problem for me was the PSP (Power Save Polling) feature of my Windows laptop, which is not supported by this router. In short, when the laptop's wifi adapter would "sleep" in power saving mode, it would basically block all connections to the router, and I would lose all connections (phones etc.) on the 2.5G channel that the laptop was using. To fix this, go to your Device Manager, click on Network Adapters, right click on wireless adapter, click properties, click Power Management, and UNselect "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Mine has worked flawlessly ever since doing this. Hope this helps.

Yeah ours is up to multiple times per day now and I'm getting irritated with power cycling it so frequently. I tried using the Netgear Genie to detect a problem but because it has to be plugged in to the computer via Ethernet when it's not working, Netgear Genie thinks everything is working fine.

Can you post the logs of the modem or check and see if any issues are showing up when the wifi stops working?

Hello gocker
I see you are getting T3 and T4 timeouts which typically signals toward a bad connection with your ISP you may want to have them send a tech out and check the levels in your home and out in your neighborhood.DarrenM
