C6300 firmware update
Hello all, I just realized that the firmware on my C6300 might be outdated, but my ISP does not support them and I have no option to manually update the modem. Can an upgrade be made somehow?...

No. The c6300 is a combo device and the ISP controls the firmware. You're unable to manually update it. You can check if they've pushed the most recent version.

i contacted my ISP and unfortunately they do not support the Netgear C6300... :(
so, looks like im stuck with Version 2.01.18
i wanted to upgrade the firmware since my wifi has been dropping lately.

there's the paragraph at the bottom that states:
If your ISP is not listed in the tables above and they do not have the latest firmware for your device please advise them that they can contact our sales engineering team using the contact form available at http://www.netgear.com/service-providers/contact-us/CableMSO.aspx and Netgear will provide them with latest firmware so they can push out to the updates to their customers.
Have you tried to see if they're willing to do so? If its registered to your account and works they might be able to push out a newer one if they're willing to take a couple extra steps.
