C6300 genie not working

firmware 2.01.14

mac os 10.13 high sierra

c6300 cable modem gateway version1

cant access modem/gateway using netgear genie? not able to acces from any device, mac or android either. tried factory reset which reset the password for the network only. cannot access the device using admin/password. have tried wired/wireless connections. it broadcasts a signal for both of the networks which can be connected to with factory password but access to change anything using admin/password is not possible.

    What is your version of genie? 

    Have you tried with iOS and Android?

      the genie version is the latest downloaded from the Netgear site. i have tried both android and ios and nothing works. my samsung 8,  ipad pro and i phone.
