C6300 Internet light blinking

My Internet light is blinking and I have no access to the internet at all.  Comcast tried to send restart signal(s) with no success.  They don't see it online.  The unit has worked since January of this year untill I started having problems the past two weeks.  Comcast says there are no outages.

As it sits right now, I have it connected directly to the cable coming in from the pole.

Firmware version V2.01.12

Downstream Power -3.9dBmv

SNR    38.6

Upstream Power  41.2 dBmv

I don't have upstream SNR listed on the connection status page.

Event log says;

DHCP failed- DHCP Solicit sent, No DHCP Advertise received

Is this a problem with my cable modem???

    Hello Jhanjo

    The Levels on the modem look to be good have you tried to do a factory reset on the modem? and if you checked all your cables and still cant get it to work and its still under warranty you may want to contact netgear phone support.

  • I have done the factory default reset.

    Comcast technician came out today. After checking everything out, it appears my modem is the problem. The technician could connect his modem and it worked.
