C6300 Lost Connection

Hello,

 

Any recommendations for the next step in troubleshooting my C6300 would be appreciated:

 

It has been working great with comcast provider since purchased in NOV 2015. No power outage issues, but suddenly the connection the the internet has been lost, TV service is fine. This has been for about 48 hrs now. Comcast signal to reset wasn't helpful. I unplugged the router/modem overnight and plugged it in this morning - everything worked great for about 3 hrs then the signal was lost again. 

 

Suggestions short of a new router?

  • Sounds like Comcaat problem. Call them back and tell them what's happening.

      Comcast can come and look at the setup tomorrow. I thought there could be some other issue since it worked briefly for a few hours today. Very strange.
