C6300 problems with routerlogin.net

I am unable to access routerlogin.net. With my computer wired to the router, when I try to go to routerlogin.net or 192.168.0.1, I am told the page isn't working. When I reset the modem/router, I start the configuration process but after I've assigned a new password and chosen the security questions and answers, I click on "next", it shows me what I just did, I click on "next" again and the page gives an http error (don't remember off hand which one). I have slightly better luck on my Ipad using the default WIFI network but then I can't change the name of that network because after it does it's thing (progress bars end) when I try to access the network I've renamed, the password always fails.

 

Can somebody please help?

    I found out my problem. I am using Opera as my browser. For whatever reason, it was not able to handle some of the pages in the interface to the router. When I switched to the Pale Moon browser (similar to Firefox), the pages loaded properly and my problem wias solved!
