C6300 red power light

After an outage with Xfinity, I had to restart my modem router (c6300). When attempting to turn back on, only the power light is on and is red. I’ve attempted resetting, but that didn’t help.. any idea what could be the problem??

    What does the user manual say about LED behaviors? 

    Try a different power outlet.

    Possible the power adapter could be bad.
