I have the samsung s7, verizon and this router. I can download from oculus and google play anywhere that does not utilize this router (c6300). I went to the verizon shop, samsung experience and everything they suggested I had already tried. Even exhanged the phone with the same problem. No other phones or devices in our house have this issue so I have no idea what to do. I just want to be able to use my phone at home and no one seems to be able to have any good solutions. I am also running the lower version of the firmware and it still has the same issue.

Your S7 is connected to the network but unable to download, correct?
What's the wireless security set on your C6300?
Will it be the same if there's no wireless security enabled on the NETGEAR gateway (C6300)?
Check the settings as well if you have MAC Address filtering enabled in the admin page of the C6300.
What's the current firmware version installed on your C6300? How did you downgrade the firmware on your C6300?

markturk76 Do you get any error message when you try to download from Google Play?
Can you describe further on what happens when you download?

It is completely an issue between the s7 and the c6300 router. I replaced the router and guess what? Problem solved. I upgraded to a different router and can download anything I want and it is faster. Stinks that I had to spend another 249$ for a router to replace the one that cost $179 in October but at least I can use the phone. It says something about the support from not only Netgear but from Samsung as well. Both offered only solutions that have already been tried. Pull your head out the sand and find a solution. I doubt I will ever purchase either Samsung or Netgear again which is a shame but this experience going on over a month now is ridiculus.

Hello markturk76
We are aware of the issues with Samsung Devices on wifi our engineers are aware and looking to fix the issue but I have read from other posters they have been able to get it to work on the guest network wifi with out security and hiding the SSID.
