(C6300) What is the average reconnect time? Also other minor annoyances.

So, we've had the router since before christmas 2015, and there have always been issues and I wanna know, is it suppose to be this way or not?

Firmware: 2.01.14

What is the average reconect time from gateway to ISP after a reboot? Ours ISP is comcast and it feels, litterally, like an eternity. Anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to connect.

Once connected to ISP and the internet light is solid, it still takes like another minute or 2 before it actually loads up a page. Within this time, I can't connect to the router page at all, its when the internet itself connects then the page is fine.

And my last problem, is the 5GHz frequency doesn't get internet sometimes from the reboot or just cuts out by itself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also under startup procedures my boot state and config file are just three hypens, is this suppose to be this way?

Thanks, Gabe

    Hello KuzconIOY

If it is taking that long to reboot it sounds like it is having issues locking on to the signal you may want to have a Cable tech come look at the lines and the signal strength.

Could the possibility of a splitter be the reason for this?

A splitter can absolutely be a contributing factor.  Multiple splitters would be even worse.  Try to remove as many as possible.  But they may not be the sole reason.  There could be a frayed cable.  Or the ISP's equipment could be faulty.
