C6900 Disconnect cable input and convert 1 lan port to wan for internet input

I may have to buy a new router cable internet price increase and poor service less than 70 MPS paying for 100. Sighed up for the Tmobile internet service for the $50.00 month so far it is as fast or faster. Want to mount the cell modem in bedroom window and cat 6 wan cable to my old C6900 or new router present central location now. Want to keep the WIFI load off the Tmobile modem and put it on the router. Looking for options.

The c6900 doesn't have a router only mode. there's a workaround of disabling dhcp/nat on the c6900 that can let it function as a type of access point

Thanks will give it a shot. Broke down today and bought a refurbished Linksys MR9600-RM2 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Wireless Mesh Router for Home off Ebay. Maybe a bad buy but it is a factory refurbished unit all the new protocol's for $99.00. Will load it up and try to keep wireless load off the Tmobile cell modem and keep it cooler. Thank You again

Looks like a solid router for that price. Good choice
