C6900 Random Internet Disconnection

My internet connection would randomly drop during the day and after a minutes or so would fix itself.

Some days it would not drop, most days probably once, and some days at least twice.

I have tried disconnecting the power cord and also restarting the modem via the xfinity app.

Any help is appreciated.

    Your power levels are out of spec and you have errors in your line. 

    remove any splitter or attenuators from your line. 

    check the coax line for damage, kinks, cheap/old/bad/corroded/loose connections and replace them if there are. 

    preferrably, move the modem to right where the coax enters the home. 

     

    If you still have issues after that, then the isp needs to check the line.
