C7000 + HP Officejet 8035 DoS attack
Hi
I have a HP Officejet 8035 on the 5G channel of my C 7000. The other night I had a DoS attack from the printer’s IP address. This caused about 20 minutes of no service on the 5G, although the 2.4 worked.
I searched for this issue and saw that there was a flurry of posts in 2016 about a C3700 and an HP 6830 that seemed to be the same problem as mine. But I don’t see any recent posts about my affected models
Anyone know if this is a long running problem, or if it’s come back with my combination of models?
Thanks.

Try the option linked. Be sure the printers FW is updated.
If the printer supports a LAN connection, switch to this on the printer.
Contact the printers mfr for additional help and information.
