C7000 and ReadyShare to backup to a external HDD

Hello just bought a C7000, Firmware v 1.01.32 and I was able to connect an external HDD (Toshiba Canvio Connect II- NTFS) as a network drive. I am however unable to use this to backup. The readyshare USB feature website page mentions that the drive can be used to backup automatically however the readyshare app does not detect the drive at all.

Any fix for this? I am using Windows 10.

    Whats the size of this USB drive? 

     

    Do other USB drives connected to the modem being detected by the modems web page?

      I tried 1TB and 250GB drives. I'm able to set them up as network drive through the genie however the readyshare app fails to detect them
