c7000 and s6 active wifi

the wifi on my s6 active when connected to 2.4 or 5.0Ghz is extremely slow. strong signals, tried changing channels and nothing. wmm is enabled, Have done just about everything I could find to fix the s6, rebooting, forgetting network and connecting, resetting router/modem, factory reset phone and c7000, static ip, etc. you name it. when i first loaded up the modem/router, wifi worked great and fast, but now it takes minutes to load anything on the phone when connected by wifi. when I connect to any other wifi network, everything loads no problem which leads me to believe it has to be the nighthawk. when i load up ipv6-test.com connected by wifi, nothing is supported. when i run it off the lte network, everything is good. no idea what ipv4-6 is or does when you start getting technical into that direction. firmware is up to date and phone software is current, lollipop 5.1.1.  any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks

    Hello Helpme2

Have you tried to disable WMM?

using the netgear genie app for the computer, it shows the link rate between the s6 and and network as 24Mbps. the samsung tv i have connected to the network shows 866Mbps. the tv is connected to the 5Ghz. When I connect the s6 to the 5Ghz the link speed is 866Mbps as well, however the load times on apps like reddit or facebook or the google homepage on the internet browser are extremely slow. about 1 to 2 minutes to load if that, sometimes pictures or whatever is on facebook will not load. just tested again on a free wireless network at a mall today and wifi loaded everything no problem.
