C7000 as Wifi router
Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to use the C7000 3.0 as a Wifi router only since I got the new Spectrum modem 3.1 and how to do it? Thank you
what speeds do you pay for?
Might not need anything as it should still hit 600-800mbps on spectrum. the C7000 has a pretty solid modem and it might just be spectrum pushing you to upgrade.
Can do that or ask the ISP which NG CM series modem is supported by them and you could connect it. If you wanted to avoid any rental fees from the ISP.

I asked Spectrum and the guy told me that the modem is for free but I could rent them the router. I'm sceptical since it's written "leased" on the modem box...
