C7000 questions

I want to upgrade my gear from an Arris SB6183 and Netgear WNR2000v5 to a Netgear C7000. How much of a difference in upload capacity will that make with 250MB cable internet service? (I'm currently on 50MB service.)

 

Also, Netgear lists the C7000 as having a wait list. If I buy it from somewhere else, will that still be the same version of the unit or an older version?

    Yes the C7000 is capable of handling those ISP speeds. Make sure your ISP supports this model modem.

     

    You'll have to ask or inquire at the place of purchase on what version they have. They may have both versions. 1 and 2.
