C7000 v2 switching between 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi

I can't find anywhere a "smart connect" box on the dashboard settings. Wondering if this modem router combo automatically selects the best connection speed? I live in a condo and everyone has a wifi connection. I thought with a dual band router that it would select the best connection based on traffic in my building. Is this correct or do I manually switch between 2.4 and 5G?
