I only get two bars right beside the modem. Why is that and how do I get more bars.

what speeds do you get hardwired into it?
what speeds do you get over 5ghz while close to it?
and 2.4ghz?

most phones are 2x2 antenna arrangements. Thats the max link speed you'll get out of it.
throughput is different thank link speed though.

Anyone who got 866 Mbps on wifi should be delighted. It is faster than most wifi clients can handle.
Is your connection slowing you down in any way?
By the way "bars" are notoriously useless indicators of anything beyond the availability of a decent drink.

Did you ever tell us the speeds you get with a wired connection? That us more reliable than any wifi measurement, which depends on the wifi clients rather than the modem router.
