C7000c2 defaults password and login back to defaults after a power outage

Hi- we have a place in Florida.  When we head back north, we have all our cameras connected to Wi-Fi.  For some reason (this has not happened in the past), when we lose power my Wi-Fi password and login default to the factory settings.  When the power returns. I lose all my camera connections.   I cannot reset remotely.    Any thoughts on how to prevent this?

    They shouldn't do this. 

    Options? 

    1. use a backup power supply to connect to the modem. 

    2. upgrade the c7000. It shouldn't do this so maybe something is wrong with it
