C7000v2 - WifI stops workig

Had the C7000v2 for years with no issues, but lately the wifi suddenly stops working.  I have to power cycle the modem and after which modem wifi starts working again, but at some point it will stop working requiring a power cycle.  Anybody else having this type of issue.

Users of that hardware are probably better equipped to answer that question.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    Cable Modems & Routers

You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

"stops working" doesn't tell us much.

Does the ssid stop broadcasting entirely?

Is it visible but devices can't connect?

Can they connect but say "connected, no internet"?

Have you noticed if it happens on the 2.4ghz, the 5ghz, or both?

Do wired devices stop working as well?
